HIPAA aids in making sure no one’s medical identity and history is violated but sometimes, HIPAA gets in the way of efficiency. At VRI, we only work with insurers that provide coverage that include direct lines to either nurses or doctors, which save time and money because HIPAA authorizations are obtained from the patient right at the start of the claims process.
